Solution of a Half-Space in Generalized Thermoelastic Problem in the Context of Two Models Using the Homotopy Perturbation Method

This paper estimated the problem of one-dimensional generalized thermoelastic half-space in medium considering two models: Lord and Shulman (LS) model Dual-Phase-Lag (DPL) model. We assumed that surface was free from traction force under an exponentially varying external heat source at boundary with time. The technique homotopy perturbation has been applied to find approximate solution for interactions thermoelasticity condition. effect a varies time are investigated temperature, displacement, stress. numerical results obtained presented graphically show influence new parameters. illustrate strong impacts on stress variations models as well relaxation parameter. agreement between present previous phenomenon applicable, especially biology, acoustics, engineering, geophysics.
